With a grotesque display and mockery of religious renaissance art at the opening ceremony of the Olympics that shocked a plethora of viewers now has many worried at possibilities that await the closing as some of the organizers plans have spilled out into open.
A flame with lips was presented as a symbol of the Paris Olympics as it was to elevate and honor woman, but the ceremonies and the games have done the opposite. Juxtaposing images of a headless woman, one which is supposed to delve into France’s past of the beheading of Marie Antoinette, mashed up against a runway turned last supper featuring bearded not-so-much women knelling the flame’s purpose into the grave subverting the woman’s place of honor with the elevation of “inclusivity” placed in the fore front. Those who designed and choreographed the opening ceremony profusely denying any wrong doing or intention to mock the last supper saying it was only to be a tribute to the olympic origins of Grecian gods feasting. Still the denial only falls deaf upon those whose eyes witnessed the malagrugrous grecian display.
Now the leaks have sprung for what might be in store for the closing of the Paris Olympics. Although the reaction from the opening ceremony has sparked in fighting from the planners wanting to change sequences while others contend it is to late in the game and too much money spent to change course, those in opposition have leaked details of what was planned. Some of the details list an arena full of naked male wrestlers, keeping with the Grecian Olympic theme, who only wear body paint with a few other greek deities mixed in; Eros, Aphrodite, Oenone, Eosphorus, etc., that quickly devolves into an orgy of maenads with the wrestlers donning blond wigs as the blue Dionysus (a.k.a Bacchus) from the opening ceremony makes his way to the center of the arena and yells, “Who partake of my vine” as he only has a cluster of grapes covering his nether regions, you can guess what happens next. Other sequences were considered, but ultimately abandoned. One such sequence was the stuffing inordinate amounts of fireworks in the catacombs and lighting everything ablaze burning out the remains of historic Christianity and draping pride flags all over the Notre Dame Cathedral and having drag performers writhe and gyrate their bodies against the building.
In all the planners directed to embrace the principles of the greek civilization that lead to its decline much of how France has been fairing in recent years.
One has to wonder what is in store for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics seeing it is the cereal bowl of the United States.
